The outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is evolving rapidly and we want to let you know that your care is at the heart of our mission. As a healthcare company, your health, safety and well-being are always a top priority for us. CenterWell Pharmacy® is activating safety plans to make sure you receive the service and quality you deserve.
Our pharmacies are open and will continue to provide high-quality services and medication dispensing:
• We have over 500 pharmacists available to answer your questions over the phone, so you can speak with a pharmacist without needing to leave your home.
• CenterWell Pharmacy uses an automated prescription dispensing process when you request mail order delivery of your prescriptions. Automated prescription dispensing provides an extra level of accuracy and safety for your medicines. Thoroughly cleaned medication dispensers place pills in bottles, limiting unnecessary human handling of your prescription. Then our pharmacists double check your prescription for accuracy before it is shipped.
• We thoroughly clean open spaces and disinfect equipment regularly to keep our team members safe and healthy, helping to minimize any potential disruption to your care.
Some of the extra precautions CenterWell Pharmacy is taking when handling your prescriptions include:
• Plans are in place to protect medication inventory and prevent product shortages. We are regularly monitoring our suppliers so we can increase our inventory of drugs when needed.
• Key vendors have been contacted to determine their plans to sustain their businesses and assess their ability to support CenterWell Pharmacy.
• Our employees are using virtual meeting technologies in place of business travel, and many employees are working from home to reduce contact with others.
