Treatment for rare diseases can be complex. Our goal is to make your treatment straightforward. With the Rare Disease Center of Excellence, you get a team of experts who specialize in your condition. They help patients with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, hemophilia, hereditary angioedema, lysosomal storage diseases/enzyme deficiencies, primary immunodeficiency diseases, Von Willebrand disease, and more.
Some rare diseases require infusion therapy, which can be challenging to go through alone. That’s why we’re here. We coordinate infusions performed by your provider, as well as at-home infusions, and self-infusions. Our team makes sure that you have all the supplies and information you need before you start your infusion therapy.

You may be getting used to new medications and other changes in your life. Our nurses can help you adjust and understand what to do. Lean on them when you have questions about your treatment, symptoms and more.
We know living with a rare disease can affect your emotional well-being. A nurse will regularly check on your mental health. They can introduce you to support groups, counseling and other resources.
