How we’ve prepared for a possible UPS strike

Man opening box

You may have heard about a possible UPS® strike this summer. You can trust that CenterWell Pharmacy® will continue delivering your medications safely, securely and on time—despite any issues that may arise with UPS shipping. No additional costs will be passed on to you.

What CenterWell Pharmacy customers can expect

We’re working with other trusted shipping carriers like FedEx® and USPS®, so you get your meds when you need them. More steps we’re taking include:

  1. Reminding you to refill—If a refill is due during the strike, we’ll remind you and process it faster to ensure you always have your meds on hand.
  2. Keeping refrigerated meds safe—We’re using improved, recyclable cold packs to keep these meds cold. The most sensitive refrigerated meds will get free 2-day shipping for the safest, quickest delivery.
  3. Providing real-time order tracking—In addition to tracking your order on our website or mobile app, you can sign up for email or text message (SMS) order updates to easily track your delivery every step of the way.

What CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy customers can expect

We know how critical it is for specialty medications to be delivered quickly—that’s why we’re working with FedEx to ensure your orders remain on time. We’re taking the following steps:

  1. Keeping refrigerated specialty meds safe—We’re using improved, recyclable cold packs to keep refrigerated specialty meds cold until your scheduled delivery.
  2. Now offering order tracking—When we call to confirm your scheduled delivery, we’ll ask if you’d like to receive order updates by email to track your shipment every step of the way. You can also check your order status on CenterWell Pharmacy without signing in using your date of birth and order number.
